Urgent Care RN- Per Diem Job description: Interim Healthcare is looking for an Urgent Care Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced clinical environment. The RN is responsible for triaging patients, performing assessments, administering medications and treatments, assisting with minor procedures, and coordinating patient care under the direction of a physician or advanced practice provider. *This is an in-clinic position* Schedule: Part-Time/Per diem, various schedules/shifts available at different locations throughout the metro from 5/25-6/21. Additional opportunities may be available beyond this point. Pay: Up to $70 per hour (depending on experience). Locations: Urgent Care clinic locations in Arden Hills, Woodbury and Apple Valley, MN. Must have current RN license in the State of MN Job Responsibilities:

• Triage patients, and assess the severity of patient conditions to prioritize care.
• Measure vital signs including blood pressure, heart rate, temperature, oxygen saturation, and perform physical assessments.
• Provide patients with injections, wound care, nebulizer treatments, IV fluids, etc.
• Support providers with suturing, splinting, abscess drainage, and other minor procedures.
• Perform phlebotomy, collect urine, throat, nasal swabs, etc., and conduct point-of-caree testing (e.g., strep, COVID-19, flu, glucose).
• Accurately chart patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic health record (EHR, Epic).
• All other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Must have an active RN license in the state of MN.
• One year or more of experience in an Urgent Care clinic/ER is preferred but not required.
• Current BLS certification for health professionals through the American Heart Association or Red Cross required and maintained. *On-line BLS certification is not acceptable.
• Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills, including appropriate use of English grammar and spelling
• Demonstrated ability to function with multiple priorities and interruptions.
