Job Description

Start Date:

• February 9, 2026

• Clinic Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm

• Coverage Needed: At least 3 days per week (Mon-Wed or Tues-Thurs)

• Setting: Outpatient Medical Oncology

• Complete staging workups

• Formulate and initiate chemotherapy or immunotherapy in coordination with Radiation Oncology (on-site) and Surgical Oncology (off-site)

• Collaborate with NPs/PAs

• Provide oversight to treatment delivery and infusions

• Coordinate patient care across regional health systems as needed

• Procedures: Bone marrow biopsy preferred but not required

• Patients Per Day: 8-10

• Admissions Per Day: Hospitalist may call to discuss inpatients; no rounding or admitting required

• EMR: Mosaiq / Meditech

• Support Staff:

• 2 clinic RNs

• 4 infusion RNs

• 1 RN navigator

• Radiation oncologist, dosimetry, radiation therapy

• Dietitian, prior authorization specialists

• Patient advocate, financial assistance coordinator

• Scalp cooling, tumor registry

• Case Types Include:

• Head & neck, prostate, breast, skin cancer, melanoma

• Lung, lymphomas, liver, colon/rectal

• Sarcoma, ovarian, testicular, gynecologic

• Neuroendocrine, bladder, kidney, brain, pancreatic

• Metastatic disease

• Non-malignant hematology

  Reason for Coverage

  • Outreach company previously supplying providers is ending all outreach programs

  Requirements

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible - Required

  • ND License or IMLC - Required

  • BLS - Required

  • DEA - Required
