Are you ready to lead and innovate in international tax compliance?

Our client is seeking a dedicated professional to oversee their international tax compliance and ensure timely and accurate tax filings for their global operations. This role involves managing relationships with external tax service providers, coordinating with internal teams, and acting as the primary contact for audits and inquiries.

• Oversee the preparation, review, and filing of international portions of U.S. tax filings, including Forms 5471, 8858, and 8865.
• Manage U.S. international tax compliance, focusing on Subpart F and GILTI reporting.
• Collaborate with external tax service providers to ensure accurate, timely, and cost-effective deliverables.
• Analyze cross-border transactions and related calculations.
• Review and approve tax-related workpapers, schedules, and journal entries.
• Monitor legislative and regulatory changes in U.S. and global tax rules, assessing their business impact.
• Coordinate with internal teams to collect and verify data for tax compliance and reporting.
• Research technical tax matters and document tax positions.
• Identify and implement process improvements and automation initiatives.
• Act as the primary contact for operating partners on tax matters.
• Respond to correspondence from taxing authorities, including audits and inquiries.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field; CPA preferred.
• Minimum of 6 years of tax experience in a CPA firm or corporate tax department.
• Strong ability to meet tight deadlines and manage detailed timetables.
• Excellent analytical, verbal, written, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
• Strong team orientation with a customer service focus.
• Self-motivated with a positive and professional attitude.

Some out-of-area and overnight travel may be expected.
