At South Shore Habitat, Core Volunteers are individuals who are dedicated to supporting our mission of creating a South Shore where everyone has a safe, affordable place to call home. Dependable , construction volunteers who regularly work on our jobsites, committing their time on a long-term basis and lending their skills are critical to our work. In this program, you will get the opportunity to have a hand in our homes from start to finish, become a critical member of our Construction Team, and lead other volunteers on a regular basis. Additional opportunities for development and leadership will be available to you as well.

No experience necessary – just a willingness to learn, develop skills, and teach others along the way!

Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years old
• Commit to volunteering on a Habitat build site at least 2 times per month
• Support and promote South Shore Habitat’s mission in your community
