We are seeking an Associate Attorney with at least 3 years of applicable experience to join our team and support the Chapter 7 Bankruptcy Trustee Practice at LeavenLaw. The associate will primarily represent Chapter 7 Trustees in the Middle District of Florida, Tampa and Fort Myers Divisions. The ideal candidate will have strong legal writing skills, courtroom experience, and the ability to manage multiple matters at once.

Responsibilities:

• Represent Chapter 7 Trustees in court hearings and related proceedings (Middle District of Florida Tampa and Fort Myers).
• Manage and prioritize multiple files efficiently.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents with accuracy and clarity.
• Conduct legal research and provide strategic support on bankruptcy and related matters.
• Communicate effectively with clients, courts, and other professionals.

Qualifications:

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Member in good standing with the Florida Bar.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant legal experience (bankruptcy experience strongly preferred).
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent legal writing and oral advocacy skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Compensation:

• Pay commensurate with experience.
